Product Details

The medium trackless sightseeing train is DINIS's most flexible road train. With 24 to 40-seat formations, it fits venues that need a real tourist train without the scale of the 72-seat model.

It runs quietly on battery power with very low operating cost, and can be fitted with a solar roof for venues that want visible green credentials — a configuration we have already delivered to a Danish client.

Styling, colors, roof options, audio and lighting are fully customizable, and the train has proven itself in export markets including Uruguay, Denmark and the USA.

What is the operating cost?

Battery operation costs only electricity — a full day of service typically costs a few dollars in power.

Can the solar roof option really charge the train?

The solar roof reduces grid consumption and extends range; it is designed together with the battery system for your climate.

How many passengers can the medium trackless train move per hour?

At a full 40-seat load, a 60-minute round-trip cycle gives a theoretical steady-state flow of about 40 passengers per hour; a 30-minute cycle gives about 80. A 24-seat formation gives about 24 or 48 passengers per hour on the same cycles. Actual capacity is lower after boarding, dwell time and peak queuing are included.

How long does one battery charge last?

The medium trackless train uses a battery-electric drive (lead-acid or lithium), so range depends on the battery pack, route length and passenger load. Tell us your route and daily operating hours and we will size the battery so one charge covers a full working day, with an optional spare pack for continuous service.

Does it need tracks or special roads?

No track is required — it runs on normal paved surfaces, pedestrian streets and park paths using tubeless tyres. It only needs a turning area at the end of the loop, and we check your site plan and route before production.
