Qinglong Gorge Scenic Track Train Proposal

A complete scenic railway proposal for Qinglong Gorge covering DNS-36 to DNS-120 track trains, stations, bridges and project budget.

China Case Study

A complete scenic railway proposal for Qinglong Gorge covering DNS-36 to DNS-120 track trains, stations, bridges and project budget.

Project Overview

DINIS prepared a full scenic railway proposal for Qinglong Gorge, covering the DNS-36 to DNS-120 track train range, station designs, track laying methods, bridge sections and an investment budget.

The proposal recommended fuel-driven scenic trains with the 406 mm gauge track system, tailored to the gorge's terrain and visitor expectations.

It demonstrates DINIS's turnkey capability: one partner for the train, track, stations, bridges and project planning.

The route follows the gorge itself, so the train specification had to match a fixed alignment with tight curves — formation and track package were designed together rather than ordered separately.

Because the visitor flow is seasonal, the operating plan allows the train frequency to be increased in peak weeks without adding a second train.
