It shares the same engineering platform as the larger DNS models — diesel-electric drive, 406 mm gauge track, simulated steam and automotive-grade construction — so operators get a genuine scenic railway experience with lower upfront cost.

Yes — it is our recommended entry point into a real scenic railway for smaller parks and venues with routes from 300 m.

Can the number of carriages be changed later?

Yes, the formation can be extended by adding compatible carriages as your visitor numbers grow.

How many passengers can the DNS-48 move per hour?

At a full 48-seat load, a 60-minute round-trip cycle gives a theoretical steady-state flow of about 48 passengers per hour; a 30-minute cycle gives about 96. Actual capacity is lower after boarding, dwell time and peak queuing are included, so we size the formation and timetable against your route plan.

What is included in a DNS-48 project?

A typical project includes the DNS-48 train set, selected paint and carriage options, the 406 mm gauge track package sized to the route, station and depot drawings, installation guidance and export packing. International freight, local civil works and on-site installation can be itemized separately in the quotation.

Does it need a concrete foundation?

The track is laid on sleepers with ballast; foundations and stations are designed in the project package.
